Soil Core Samplers allow the user to collect relatively undisturbed samples from the subsurface or pre-augered boreholes.

Samples are collected into liners that may be properly prepared and transferred to a lab for soil profiling or chemical analysis. The liner may also be extruded in the field for immediate examination of the core sample. Soil Core Samplers include a Soil Core Sampler Cup and Cap. They are made using carbon steel or stainless steel and sized by the outer diameter of the liner.
